When I needed painting done at my own home, I did what most homeowners do. I invited several painting companies out for estimates. Some were friendly, and some clearly knew their craft. But something was missing. The experience often felt impersonal, and I couldn't help but feel like I was just another job on someone's schedule. I wasn't simply looking for a price. I wanted someone who would listen, understand what I was hoping to accomplish, and make me feel confident about who I was trusting with my home.
I've spent much of my career working directly with homeowners, helping them navigate big decisions about their homes and find solutions that genuinely make sense for them. Along the way, I've learned that people don't just remember the end result. They remember how they were treated, whether someone took the time to listen, and whether they followed through on their promises. I started wondering why working with a painting company couldn't feel that way, too.
